Each year the International University in Geneva awards a limited number of Scholarships to students who have a GPA of at least 80% (3.2 out of 4).

Students applying to the IUG undergraduate programs must provide the following:

Select a current issue of national or international importance which you think will have an impact on society. Explain why.
A certified copy of a secondary school diploma (certified translation in English)
Certified High School transcripts (certified translation in English) for the last 3 years
An English Proficiency test of your choice between IELTS (min. score 6.0), TOEFL (min. score 80 internet based; min. score 550 paper-based; min. score 213 computer-based) or Cambridge Advanced Certificate (min. grade C). To submit the TOEFL test score to the International University in Geneva (IUG), please enter IUG’s institutional code number (0130) when you take the test.

Students applying to the IUG graduate program must submit the following:

Official Undergraduate Transcript (certified translation in English) (Minimum GPA recommended 2.7 or above on the scale of 0-4);
Official Undergraduate Diploma (certified translation in English);

Candidates over 30 years old would hardly get a student visa
The following additional requirements apply to MBA program candidates:
A minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.0
At least 2 years of work experience is recommended
Stud’home residence is the residence where most of the students of the International University in Geneva live. Students have the choice between furnished studios at CHF 1’690 monthly (18’600 per year) or furnished rooms at CHF 1’015 monthly (11’160 per year). The lease contracts are issued for 11 months or from 1 September until 31 July the next year. August is at no cost for students renewing their leases for the next academic year. The studios and rooms are all fully furnished. Water, electricity and heating charges are included. All the rooms and studios are equipped with Wi-Fi internet.
Each room has its own sanitary equipment WC + bathroom. The kitchen and the living room are common shared between five students only.
The studios are completely independent.
Montbrillant street residence
Montbrillant street residence is a new and modern residence which opened its doors in May 2011. It has one apartment and thirteen studios.
Prices for the studios range from 1,530 CHF to 2,100 CHF. Internet, heating and water are included. There is one studio (23m2) which comprises two storage spaces and its price is 2,200 CHF. Only the studio which surface area is 28m2 and the studio comprising the storage spaces are designed for two people. All the other studios are for one person. The studios are all fully furnished. Water, electricity and heating charges are included. All the rooms and studios are equipped with Wi-Fi internet.
The apartment’s monthly rent is 2,950 CHF. It includes one storage space.
The lease contracts are issued for 11 months or from 1 of September until 31 of July next year. August is at no cost should students renew their leases for the next academic year.
