ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS.

Duration of study at the BNTU is 5 years that includes learning a specialty(engineering qualification). After getting qualification a student can continue his/her education at Master courses with duration of 1 year.

Foundation/Preparatory School / Course / Program

Applicant who don’t have English proficiency results are given a simple (street conversation level) English test. Those who fail are given English course for one or two semesters before they start the main courses. Also applicant who have deficiency course (not enough of the prerequisite courses) are also giving such courses before they start their main program.

English Proficiency Documents / Requirements 

Like most international universities, the BNTU requires foreign students to produce a certificate of English Language proficiency. Nevertheless, it is not a mandatory requirement for international students from English-speaking countries to have this certificate.

        An IELTS average score of about 5.0

        Internet based test score of at least 40 in TOEFL.

        The Pearson Test of English Academic of at least 38.

A Senior High School leaving certificate or equivalent certificate with English the language of instruction.
        A higher education or degree no shorter than 2 years duration, in which English language is the main language of instruction.
Not a mandatory requirement for international students from English-speaking countries.

Admission procedures are in two (2) main steps:
1. Pre-admission Procedure for International Students
For admission to the University an applicant must fill, and submit an application form and letter to the Belarusian National Technical university.
National Passport with Belarusian Entry Visa issued according to the specified procedure;
2. Post Admission Procedures for International Students.
Post admission procedures involves the following:
After admission, foreign students must obtain a Belarusian entry visa in accordance to the specified procedure.
You should apply for the temporary registration in Belarus (Residence Permit).
To obtain a residence permit or registration foreign students are to expected to submit the following documents to the Foreign Student Service (room 130 or 131):
Registration Form (filled in);
Passport with Student Visa;
Migration Card;
3 photos;
Medical Insurance (to be purchased at room 130);
Dormitory Pass;
Receipt of payment for registration.
You will receive a certificate instead of your passport for the time of registration procedure.
